70 AV du Roule 92200 Neuilly-sur-Seine FRANCE
An exhibition by Aki Kuroda, a painter living in Paris, was held at Theater Sablon from October 17 to November 28, 2015, with the invitation of the luxury residential area of Neuilly-sur-Seine near western Paris.
The exhibition’s title, “Space Garden = Cosmo Garden,” is a collective term for a series of interactive, multi-layered installations and performances of paintings, sculptures, and performances that Kuroda has been developing with various artists since 1992. This series, which has collaborated with leading artists from various fields such as Wilfred Poiret of the Opera Etoile and Michele Bokanowski, a female electronic musician / cellist, has been treated as the theme of Kuroda’s work. And the scenarios imagined by the audience.
COSMOGARDEN10 “le labyrinthe Intangible: The Labyrinth of the Untouchable” is a diverse team of six Japanese and French artists that are drawing attention from the world of art-electronic musician Keiichiro Shibuya, cellist Gaspar Claus, Jeremie Belingard of Theatre Opera Etoile, Nobuyoshi Asai of Motoyama Kaijuku contemporary dancer, and reader Timothée LAINE, who has been participating in the Cosmo Garden since the beginning.
