The opera performance “THE END,” which had its world premiere in December 2012, was born as a collaboration work by musician and artist Keiichiro Shibuya, director and playwright Toshiki Okada, video artist YKBX, and other cutting-edge artists.
Hatsune Miku’s costume was designed by Louis Vuitton, and the special collaboration with Marc Jacobs and his studio team became a hot topic.
Based on the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, the original design was created to fit Hatsune Miku’s unique body shape and aura. Wearing an iconic Damier outfit, the digitized image of Hatsune Miku presented a modern yet completely new vision of her, making this unprecedented collaboration a groundbreaking and special moment.
