Live performance in club Silencio produced by David Lynch
Keiichiro Shibuya announced his solo concert in Paris this month. The venue is a club called “Silencio”, produced by David Lynch and reflecting the worldview from concept to interior. In Paris, it is a famous club known to those who know it, and when you go through the dim underground, the stage has red curtains, and the lynch-like world view that frequently appears in “blue velvet” etc. is fully developed.
Live performance by Shibuya at first full-fledged club has been gathering attention, and it has been announced that the event will be held by invitation only. Same as “Parade for the End of the World”, which was announced at the Yokohama Dance Collection, visual artist Justine Emard in Paris will participate in the video and perform a completely new collaboration with Shibuya.
In addition, the opening act has decided that DJ Takaminakamoto of nonotak, a media art unit in France who is known worldwide, will participate as a DJ.
The live show is all-standing and Shibuya says, “I want to disassemble and fragment recent and unpublished new works with a piano and a computer and rebuild them around the beats of a rhythm machine. It is expected to be a danceable content with the beat of the piano, computer and drum machine brought to the forefront, and the concert title “secret trap” which suggests a live performance in a Trap style that Shibuya has been focusing on in recent years.
