Musician / artist Keiichiro Shibuya and director Toshiki Okada will make a new opera performance after staying at YCAM. In this opera, no singers or orchestras will appear, and instead arias, recitatives, and character images by vocaloids will be the main focus. This work, which progresses in the absence of human beings, renews the European anthropocentrism of the form of opera, and various binary oppositions in the art-life and death / live voice and synthetic voice / public and private / partial and whole / line and layer, and will bring new emotions to the viewer that have not yet been experienced.
