NHK-FM 2012 Electronica World-Keiichiro Shibuya’s Electronic Music
“The world of electronica-Keiichiro Shibuya’s electronic music” explores the possibilities of new music with electronic music. This is our third broadcast, and we will deliver it under the theme “Is the music possible to have never ends?”
In the first half, we invited model Mona and writer Sumiko Gosho, listening to music that Keiichiro Shibuya recently worked on, and focusing on music, and this theme “Is it possible to endless music? ” was discussed.
And in the second half, we will show an annual public studio concert.
One of the most famous contemporary music called John Cage, representing the 20th century who celebrated its 100th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of his death. A solo of “One” from his late-life works <Number Piece>, played a piano (Shibuya Keiichiro), electronic musical instruments (Jim O’Rourke), and cello (Toki Tomoki) are experimentally reproduced, leading to a new world of music.
