<Announcement>
“Off-Sense – A World Beyond Common Sense” is an exhibition by Masaki Fujihata, a leading figure in media art who expresses scientific technology and its theories as a medium of expression. The work “Off-Sense” on display features multiple computers with databases freely moving, encountering, and conversing within a virtual network space. This interaction is projected via a projector, allowing observers to view the avatars (representations) of each computer.
The conversations and questions exchanged between these computers, which deviate from typical human perception, challenge us as observers to consider the nature of real human communication and what the reality of communication truly is.
